Introduction
The recent construction of the first commercial WiMax infrastructure in Taiwan brought Taiwan’s communications network to the next level. WiMax Technology, commonly known as 4G, is popular for many applications thanks to its high communication speed and transmission coverage. It can be used in remote automatic meter reading (AMR) applications or to provide consumer internet access. The WiMax base station monitoring system which provides WiMax services in Southern Taiwan and Penghu uses Moxa’s ioLogick products.

  Moxa Solution
Moxa's ioLogik E2210 products are cost-efficient environmental monitoring devices that support nearly all comprehensive SNMP functions, as well as SNMP v1, v2C, and v3’s encrypted protocols. System managers can make use of their SNMP management software to both receive and set alarm events.

In addition, the ioLogik E2210 will attach a time stamp to outgoing trap alarms (e.g., 2010-06-10 19:35:21). The benefit of this design is that system managers no longer need to compile MIB files and spend time interpreting alarm messages. Now, it's just one quick and easy step: simply click to open the trap, and all the previously set alarm information is displayed.

The ioLogik’s patented Click&Go, IF-THEN-ELSE control logic is another compelling feature. This control logic is extremely intuitive, and requires no programming knowledge to configure.
